I want to lay wood flooring to my existing concrete floor. I have been told i will need to use a DPM and the adhesive underlay. When it is stuck in place will there be space for expansion? Or does the wood move with the elasticity of the underlay? Is it much of a job or is it basicly peel and stick ...

Fitting flooring up against a stone wall

I live in A 100 year old cottage where one of our intrenal walls in the livingroom is a stone wall. I want to fit laminate flooring in this room but I will be unable to get the laminate to butt up along the stone wall as it is uneven. The other 3 walls will be fine as I am going to pull the skirting...
