Redring "Expressions" shower

Expressions 5000 elec shower problem.
"Overheat light" switch comes on even when only set to "medium" so never gets warm. Has worked OK for over 2 years.
Makes no difference adjusting the flow.
Is it fixable or does it need replacing completely?

Extending bathroom lighting

Currently have one single ceiling light operated by std pull switch.
Looking to replace light with 6 recessed spots but not the low voltage type.
Will the 6 x 35w put too much load on the system?
