paint flaking off exterior wall

I have a property which has some minor damp issues in one particular wall,where externally the masonary wall paint has peeled off in a certain area.

Is there any kind of external equivalent of anti- damp paint,so that I may seal it prioir to re painting it?

damp in house,need a second opinion.

I have a damp problem in a house I have refurbed,and am unsure as to whether it's condensation due to poor circulation,water in gress trhough the roof,or somekind of penetrating damp via the cavity etc. I need to have a more detailed look myself,however would like someone to give a professional opin...

Hi, I have just refurbished a property and am experiencing considerable condensation on some internal walls. damaged corbel bricks

I want to do some repairs to some brick corbels that form a horizontal band around the house. it will all eventually be painted,as the top half is render and the bottom brick. All I want to do is form a continous line with the corbel to make it even,as thet are about 6 or so broken. What will I need...

trying to drain a system but nothing comes out.....

very frustrated as I'm trying to drain down a system( I have followed directions of how to do it from this site),but even when the valves are open,no water comes out from the hose,only drips from the valves on the rad.what's going on?

difference between closed and open systems

as a property investor,i am wondering if there is an easier way of finding out what type of system it is ,without going into the roofspace to look for the expansion tank(as in an open system) ?
