Hi

Can someone advise me on how best to lay vinyl floor tiles.
At the moment i have ceramic tiles with grouting, how do I make sure the grouting is level with the ceramic tiles so i can lay the new vinyl pones straight on top?

Can someone advise me on how to refix a door handle? Its a brass handle which has been pulled off so i cant rescrew it on as holes are now to big for screws. The door is a cheap hollow one so how do i get my handle back on!

Please help as parents are visiting at weekend and need it back on!

Hi Thanx for all the advice last time, When i'm wiring in the new ceiling light into the old ceiling rose do i need to earth the new light? The ceiling rose is earthed so do i just do like for like with the live and neutral? and require no earting wire to the light exept the ceiling rose! Thank you

Hi Can someone let me know if, a) How you test a live wire i have one of those screwdriver things that lights up so can you just put it against the live wire sleeve while electric is on? b) I'm replacing the ceiling light , but the ceiling rose is very complicated so can you just undo the 2 wires ne...

Can someone tell me the best way to fix my door handle back on?
Its a normal brass plated one but the screw holes have become to big as the door is a cheap hollow one any suggestions?
