Have spoken to building control; do not need to notify for this work and no cill is required. Have advised about 30 min protection and minimum 400mm drop into garage. :D

Fire door for garage

About to install access door from kitchen into garage, im aware it needs to be a fire door and frame. Im unsure if it needs to be an interior or exterior door and if it requires a threshold/cill, can anyone advise please. :!:

56mm waste pipe!!

Need to run 40mm waste pipe from bath, all drainage is internal and not easly accessable. The old waste pipe coming directly off the stack is 56mm, is there an adapter i can use to reduce down or another solution: im open to any suggestions. Cheers.......Mark[/b]

Shower cable on outside of house.

Without causing major disruption to the internal rooms of the house I am considering runing the cable from the loft space to the consumer unit in the garage via the external gable wall. However im unsure what the correct conduit casing should be and if im allowed to do it this way. Anybody advise pl...
