Thanks for the replies
We do not have a water tank this house it is only 5 years old
There is a combi boiler when the toilets are flushed it also seams to rattle the central heating pipes.
Any help please

Thats the problem I think (water hammer) how do I resolve it.

Noisy pipes

We have a problem with noisy pipes when any toilet is flushed or when an appliance is drawing water and we use a tap.
It sound like there is a lack of water, we have also discovered the water meter is not working would that have anyyhing to do with it
any help please.
