black smoke coming from flue.new nozil and pump fitted set 8bar,air settings 2.75,fuel clean,what could be the problem?

Riello 40 GB Emitting Black Smoke From Flue - Motor Problem?

Hi
I have a problem with a riello burner that is emitting black smoke from the flue,its working off kero and is installed in firebird 90 btu boiler, pump setting at 8bar, new nozil, air settings 2.75. fuel is clean.any ideas? is the motor the problem/?

expansion vessel

I have 4 rads weeping in a two story house downstairs,The system is gas operated and is sealed.as there is apressure gauge set at 2bar in the hot press.I dont seem to be able to locate an expansion vessell.Can I still go ahead drain off the system and repair the valves.

Good morning.

Thank you for your reply,the boiler is a 90 BTU Firebird with a reillo burner.
Would the filling loop be connected to mains at all times? and is ther any risk of explosion if boiler is used at present due to cold weather?

Hi
I have that the pressure on my oil fired central heating has gone up from 1 bar to 2.5 bar and water is seeping from avalve on the boiler.What would have caused the increase in pressure? It is asealed system

Hello

I am very interested in attending gas safety and installation course as i currently work on oil burners and I feel this is the way forward.
Before I do, I would like to read up on gas installation.
Can anybody recomend any books that would be of help?

Balancing Radiators

Hello.
can anyone tell me the best way to balance radiators in a 2 storey house.the rads do not heat up very well,especially upstairs.Heating system is oil fired burner. .Is it possible that the boiler is to small.
