HI All I have a problem with my CWS tank i went up to check it out when it split and found out after changing it that some how the tank is getting hot water in it and I dont where from the vent pipe goes into the tank but I dont think its the vent at fault I felt the cold water feed pipe to the wate...

:?: I have a small split in my CWS tank in my loft the problem is I cant get a new one up though the loft hatch whats the best way to proceed and repair the one thats in there ?the split is about half inch long so not big at all.
:( when soldering joints and the solder doest not take and you get a small leak how can you re-solder once you have turned the water on and discoverd you have a leak in the joint ??????
thanks for the reply now this might be a dumb question but if you tap into the 22mm flow return wont that be full of horrible water from central heating system ?/
