Fixing Sleepers to Steps

Hello, wondered if anyone could help. Have built three steps in the garden and want to fit three old sleepers to them that i have washed and cleaned down. Hello Stoneyboy, thanks for your reply. So rip off the whole end strip with my required width. But when i take off the end strip which goes from top to bottom, Im going to have to rip it down top and bottom to fit between top and bottom strips. Is that right? internal door trimming

Hello everybody. Wondered if you could help me? Have bought three, four panneled internal moulded doors. Have fitted 2 with a little bit of planning into me old frames. But on my third one i need to trim over double the width of the recommended width by the manufacturer? Any ideas? :)
