foundation regs

I hope to convert my bungalow into a reasonably sized dorma. I know an RSJ will be required for the build, but am unsure about regulations required for the foundations? are they the same as is required for a standard first story block extension? any advice much appreciated

Combi Versus Back Boiler

I have a back boiler (which works perfectly well) have been quoted £2500 all in, to convert to a worcester combi boiler system. Is it worth it? will I save that much on my heating/hot water bill? (p.s. can you still buy back boilers?)

I have a three foot high brick boundary wall that leans to one side due to the roots of a large tree (now removed). I'd like to replace the wall with a panel fence with posts. Thanks for the advice steve. I affraid I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to boilers and their out puts.
