I've got a similar problem although the condensation tends to be less on the actual windows themselves and more on the metal window frames we have in our flat. We try to ventilate the rooms as much as possible but the missus feels the cold too much to have the windows open for too long. Is a dehumid...

Skirting Board + Uneven Floor

Bathroom Flooring - Tiles or Amtico

Hi

We're having the shower room in our flat re-floored after a flood.

My missus wants us to have Amtico vinyl flooring, while I prefer the idea of normal tiles.

Anyone any rcommendations on what would be better?

Thanks in advance

Replacing a fixing to a Plasterboard Wall

I've got a problem with a fixing to a plasterboard wall. Basically, one of the brackets that supported a curtain rail has come loose and the fixing hole has become enlarged. The hole is now too big for an 8mm rawlplug, but not deep enough for a 10mm rawlplug, nor deep enough for a metal anchor. I'd ...
