help!! just testing an old lighting circuit, and the results for the continuity tests are showing over 110 ohms....very high!! although zs tests are showing good results at 1.59... any suggestions to why im getting these conflicting results?? the test is part of a peridoic, zs results are a pass, bu...

hi remelad......i feel your pain, ive had exactly the same thing happen to me yesterday! how did you sort the problem?? i managed to prevent the rcd tripping, by removing the offending lights from the circuit...but im getting strang test results R1 + R2 over 100ohms, but zs at 1.56.... your help wou...

resistance testing ring main! help!!!!!

i have just tested r1, r2, and rn, the results as follows:- r1 = 0.46 r2 = 1.24 rn = 0.47 r1 and rn results are similar which they should, but r2 is much higher than it should, i belive should only be 1.67 times that of the phase conductors due to the reduced size of the cpc.....any suggestions why ...
