what is a indirect pumped cylinder

i have been told i need a indirect pumped cylinder for the hot water.but on looking for one i can not find any refrence to pumped or non pumped cylinders, just direct and indirect.so can someone explain whether all indirect cylinders are by default pumped or what??

i have been told to buy a indirect pumped hot water cylinder. but when looking on the net and in the screwfix cataloge i do not see any refurence to pumped on non pumped cylinders. .i can find indirect cylinders but they do not say whether they are pumped or not.can any one help me with this. many t...
