Laminate floor over heated tile

Hi, I currently have a tiled floor in my conservatory which has been laid over a (very) flexible timber floor. Joints have cracked up and even a couple of files have broken due to the flex. There is an electric underfloor heating system under the tiles. My question is, rather than relaying the floor...

Slotted waste

This is probably an obvious and simple question but I am baffled. I have a new sink which has a 'slotted' waste. The slots are not covered and below the plug and above the trap connection. Surely these willl leak when connected or am I missing something obvious, All help greatly received.....thanks .

I am replacing existing, not installing new. have sourced a new rad with same dimensions so should be straightforward, famous last words! I am ignorant about CH and Megaflows etc as I am in a new house and previously had a flat with tank and immersion - the simple life. Thanks for the help and advice.

Laminate cut around toilet

Hi, I am installing a new floor in my bathroom and the laminate instructions say not to screw a toilet to the laminate floor. I can see the point of this due to movement etc but i dont fancy a 12mm gap around the base filled with sealant. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to achieve a better f...

Laminate over tiles

Hi, I have a tiled conservatory floor which the previous owner laid over a flexible timber floor, the obvious has happened with open joints, broken tiles and movement. Tiles and bath

Hi, I am after a bit of advice. I am doing up my bathroom and installing a new bath. Which is best; tile the wall then push the bath up to the tiles and seal OR push bath up to wall and then tile up from edge of bath so they overlap the bath slightly?

Many thanks
