Thanks for reply. I intend using silicone first, but really wanted to put a bath seal over that (it will look a bit better than sealant!) so was wondering if anyone had any recommendations.

Thanks for info, but I've managed to get my wires crossed!!!! On double checking info on booster pump it needs a fused spur. Therefore can I/should I: * change the spur in the airing cupboard (which has been taken from the socket in bedroom) to an fcu, then run a double socket from this (I need a do...

partial loss of lighting

lights went out in three downstairs rooms, garage, workshop and utility room, but did not trip out fuse in consumer unit. have checked all lighting connections in these rooms but all seems ok. any ideas ?[/b]
