Used a matt emulsion instead of undercoat

Help! In my ignorance, I have used a matt emulsion instead of an exterior undercoat on my large wooden sandpit lid. I did prime the bare the wood first, then gave it two coats of matt emulsion, and have finished with two coats of exterior wood paint. Can I expect that the whole lot will peel off in ...

Mildew & peeling paint patches on walls

Hi...me again... We have a downstairs loo & laundry room which was built 3 years ago and as far as I can see had a fairly swift paint job over the new plaster. Over the last year the paint has been peeling in patches back to the plaster, mainly just above the skirting, but also head height. Thes...

Renovating chipped paintwork on skirting and door frames

Hi I am looking to sell my house this year and want to tidy up the paintwork on the skirting boards and internal door frames which are chipped and in some places badly painted. What is the best way to tackle this problem? I'm happy to put in the work stripping and sanding, but as we're selling don't...
