Great cover for my new laminate floor

I used D-Line to cover an expansion gap of a new laminate floor. The white looked great against white skirting. I’ve got a little girl under three so I wanted a way to hide wires and make it safe for my child. I strongly recommend it for people who have young children like me!!

Christmas tree wires solution

Hello everybody, I would like to share a handy solution to hide the wires of my Christmas tree. Throughout the year I have an old radio which stays on the corner of the living room. I already use D-line around the skirting board fit with D-Line F-Clips, which easily snap-in the lengths. All I had to...

Fraid I don't have any info but you could call various course providers such as MET-UK and see what they say. You don't have to take their course but you could get info by calling speculatively.

I don't have an exact answer but could you try and speak to several course providers such as MET-UK and see if you can get an answer. You don't actually have to train with them, they have to give out information when you call speculatively.

You may have to go the power shower route. Explore both tank and power shower options and see which would suit you best.

Wall insulation disappeared?

Hi, We've been having the roof re-insulated on our extension because it wasn't really done when it was built (before our time there) and have discovered an extra reason why the room is so cold - the wall insulation seems to have disappeared. There seems to be a little but not much. Do you think it w...

Lilly Pollen Stains Tips

Just tried these two lately and combined with washing clothes were saved! 1. Put the item of clothing outside in direct sunlight. (Not so easily done in the UK but works if you can find some sunshine!) Somehow it bleaches it out (guess a breeze might help too). 2. Try gently lifting the pollen off w...

A friend of mine had this but turned out to be because they were leaving the shower pull cord on (not ever having a power shower before they didn't know)! Are the wires melted/burnt when you replace the unit? As ericmark says it's probably a cycle of heating that is eventually too much and it blows.
