please help the combi boiler in my sons house has not been used for years how do i start to get to it working there is no reason why it should not work as it only about 5 years old please in simple terms. thanks p.s i hav not tried to do anything yet

cast iron waste pipe

i want to change my cast outside(app. size 100mm)cast iron waste pipe to plastic i hav been told to remove the cast iron from a collar joint then fit plastic from that point what is the best way to do this.Thankyou

i am replacing my toilet the waste is lead the joint from trap to lead waste is filled with some kind of mastic can i do same with new toilet if so what type of mastic?

i hav a banging noise when my boiler heats up it seems to come from pipes to the hot water cylinder it does not happen when boiler shuts off and pump still running my system is not combi type[/b]
