If its just lines were the joines in the plasterboard are this is not uncommon as due to depth this tends to dry slower but should disapear.

I have used it on all my walls aftern been skimmed and i have a few friends who have used it on old walls and so far no complaints and from my point of view would highy recomend it. Its alot thicker then standard paint but easy enough to applie with a roller and gives a top finish in my opinion Litt...

Alternativley just replace the skirtings not a bad as it sounds, Hire a compound Mitre saw for the day £15 and you will be shocked how easy it is after working out your mitres. Skirting is pretty cheap as well if bought from a timber merchant (avoid chain diy stores for wood at all cost I have found)

Your best option on this one is to simply google it i have a quick look and found about 20 suppliers but as i was not sure weather its just plain coving or ornate i though best not to link as may have bee wrong

primer simple

Ruff up the old surface with a hevey grit paper get a good metal promer and give a couple of coats then is should stick fine.

You may want to try adding pva to the primer as well about 1 to 5, 1 part pva to 5 parts primer.

I had this problem and there is quite a simple solution you just need to score the paper to allow the steam to penatrate it. You can buy special rollers that due this job but I found that a pizza cutter worked a treat alternativley a knife but not so sharp it damages the plaseter. Hope it helps Ps j...

I have had the same problem on a couple of houses i have renovated incluuding my latest. The simplest way to tell is to see if the artex has small silver like flakes in it. Its not full proof but if theses can be seen then normally this would surgest the precence of aspestos. As for removing it get ...
