If you can, read the instructions for the stove and find out the ventilation req for it... there is nothing to stop you from bricking up the old flue and putting a new vent (if req'd) in a more pleasing position in the same room.

Hi,

work out the heat input of the kiln first then base your calculation for ventilation on that.

Hi pal, I'm a central heating engineer. I'm assuming your DHW (hot water) is gravity circulated and your CH is pumped!! My first point of call would be the CH pump.... if you can pace your hand on it while the timer is calling for CH. If you cant feel or hear anything from it then its a safe bet you...
