I'm not sure I'm with you on that one, why would that be "shopping him in"? I'm just assuming that's jujst another way to get onto the scheme, after all.. if I install say a ring final and then then accessor doesn't pass me on it then what? surely the circuit has to be checked out by someo...

ok cool thanks very much, I have a friend who is a time served electrician and is registered with Napit, could I just have him inspect whatever work I do rather than paying for building control? and keep a copy of the test results to make up some work history?

Hi people, this is my first forum entry so please bare with me if I go on a bit! I've just completed my city&guilds level2 2330, now currently doing my 2392 and going to get the 17th Edition update as soon as possible. Given that I don't currently work in the electrical industry I'm quite confus...
