I've decided to crimp them and use some heavy duty shrink wrap around it. The epoxy filled joint seems a bit overkill as I just want to terminate the SWA at the brickwork and then connect to a T&E 16mm cable indoors.

Hi guys, I'm trying to find a good quality terminal to connect 16mm2 conductors. The ones I have found are those white plastic terminal blocks that just by looking at it may spark and catch fire. I'm used to wago connectors which are a wonder but I can't find anything above 6mm2. What do you guys us...

Hi bleicker Provided the concrete floor is flat there would be little gain in using self levelling on it. If you are using T&G chipboard on the insulation and will be carpeting with underlay there is not point in overboarding with ply. Regards S Thanks for the advice, I'm going down the route y...

The advice you have is correct, don't put electric underfloor heating directly on PIR board, it will just melt straight through. Search for "Insulated Tile Backer Board" or "Underfloor Heating Insulation Board", unfortunately it's a lot more expensive but the right material for ...
