Sliding Doors

Does anyone know of a sliding door track that allows the door to fit back into the doorway? I need to change hinged door to sliding one but it would be nice if theer were a track or mechanism that enabled the door to go fit into the orginal doorway. I've scoured the internet but no joy so far but it...

Painting Metal Columns

Can you recommend an exterior paint for two metal columns that hold up the overhang of my 1st floor extension? They have been painted with red oxide at the fabricators but I need to give a finish - preferrably stone coloured. Thank you

Thanks for you advice. Should I bolt the timbers to the concrete slab or will their weight be sufficient?

Conservatory Floor

I'd like some advice on my conservatory floor please. I had the foundations and sub floor for the proposed conservatory laid when I had a new extension built last year. Somehow the builder managed to get the sub floor of both extension and conservatory 135mm below the house floor level instead of 70...
