Hi folks. I have just built a workshop and I am now in the possition to supply a sub-main from my house to the workshop, (W/S). In the W/S I will have:- a) 1 x Lighting circuit. Gunk behind washing machine seal.

Hi all. I have a Hotpoint WD860 washer/dryer. The problem I have is a load of gunk behind the door seal, between the seal and the drum. When the wash cycle finnishes the washing is covered in splatters of this gunk. I have done two hot cotton washes to see if this would clean the machine, but still ...

Thanks for your reply stoneyboy, and sorry for delay in my reply.

There was in fact an adaptor in a bag which came with the sink. (Which the wife just hapened to put aside).

Kitchen waste trap to plughole.

Hi all.
I am in the middle of doing my kitchen, and when i went to fit the sink i discovered that the waste fitting under the sink, internal measurment was 39mm, and the trap fitting external measurment was 40mm. I thought it was all standard sizes. Can someone please advise.

Fitting secondhand double glazed window.

Hi. I am building a work shop and have been given a secondhand double glazed window. To fix the window into its final position I have to remove the fixed glass by removing the internal plastic beading so I can gain access to the fixing holes. Hi doodle bug.

What are "Galzing bars", and how do you remove them? And of coarse, how do you replace them once glazed unit is replaced?
