Thanks. Was hoping that I would not have to disassemble. Could you use a lubricating spray? - say a silicone based one (rather than WD-40)

Monoblock tap problem

I have a Blanco single lever monoblock kitchen tap. The on/off hot/cold lever works perfectly with fingertip ease. However the section that delivers the water is so stiff it needs two hands to rotate. It was not always like this. Is there a way to free this up. I would be happy to remove the tap to ...

Garden water supply

I want to lay in water to a greenhouse. There is a short distance where it would be easier to run pipework concealed but overground. Is MDPE pipe resistant to fracture on freezing? Or is ther a better solution?

Rotating soil pipe junction to move w.c.

Guys, I need to relocate a w.c. from one wall to the adjascent one. This will entail rotating the soil pipe through 90 deg. The soil pipe connects with the stack in the junction of the two walls involved. The soil pipe and the stack are plastic (Push fit I think). Do you have any hints as to how bes...

Water stains on Enamel Bath

Does anyone know of a way to remove the blueish green stain that results from a tap dripping on a enamel bath over a protracted period of time.

Presumably it is some sort of copper deposit.
