I had wooden window sills in my bathroom and kitchen and I tiled them both. It was a fairly simple matter to cut down the overhang of the sill and then I tiled around and over the edge easily.. It looked far better than if I had left the sill on view.

I want a gas fire in my park home but no-one seesm to be able to give me the right info or even if I can have one fitted at all. I have heard that it is possible to have your flue going under the floor and out thru the brick skirt around the home but I'm not sure whether this is correct
