Drainage Gratings to Prevent Blockage for ACO Raindrain Channels

ACO Raindrain channels are often fitted between patios and buildings. They work but the slotted gratings tend to act as leaf traps while actually allowing small leaves to pass through and block the system. That's a good point. Slugs & snails I can cope with but keeping midges out will be a problem. Even a well-capped water butt still harbours them. I'm off to research economic ways of debugging stored water.
