Many thanks for the prompt repy. I'm not sure if a hot air gun would be suitable as the paper was on plywood and not a normal wall! I'll give it a try though.

removing adhesive

I have just removed some 1970/80's heavy wallpaper which was hung on wood using a very heavy glue like adhesive. The adhesive is lumpy and black and very tough. Is there a product that will remove this 'paste'. I'll be grateful for any info.

Energy advice

We have gas and electricity bills that are well in excess of normal. When we bought our house we inherited a bit of a hodge-podge of heating in that part of the house is Night storage and part is gas central heating. We don't fully understand how it all works, but our combined gas/elec is almost £2...

Kitchen cupboards

I am having a new kitchen and I want the doors to be plain without handles showing. Are there catches available for this situation? I assume it would be a small push to release some kind of catch then push it to close. Any info appreciated. Many thanks in advance!
