Tiling onto blockwork

Hi there, I'm re-tiling my bathroom and removing the old tiles has gone right back to blockwork in most places. Can I tile straight onto that or will I need to plasterboard first? If any tips?

I'm retiling my bathroom. In taking of the existing tiles, almost all of the plaster and bonding coat is coming away too, exposing the concrete blockwork.
