Help with range cooker please

My new dual fuel range cooker is tripping the RCD when I turn any of the ovens on. Its not tripping the MCB. Previously there's been a gas oven in its place, so there has never been any appliance connected to this circuit. The techy bits I can tell you are.... Its a 32amp MCB. 6mm cable to the cooke...

My Anton analyser is out of test so need it re-calibrating. I usually send it back to Anton but last time it took over 3 weeks to come back and cost a fortune as it needed the cells replacing, so they said.Can anyone recommend any other companies for re calibrating flue gas analyses

We're getting quite a few people enquire about this grant, but don't know much about it. I know what the offer is but the money comes out of my pocket first, then it seems you have to claim it back. Is it worth looking at or is it a rip off for the installer

Totally agree with both points of view. I've always thought a couple of registration bodies was a good idea, not a monopoly. It seems to work for electricians.

No more corgi!!

As from April 1st 2009 it looks like Corgi are no more. Capita Group won the rights to run the 'gas scheme'! and will take over from them. Personally I would prefer both running schemes, then I could have a choice who I would become a member of ( like the electricians have)

Thanks again ericmark. There are 2 extractor fans, which get their power from the lighting circuit. These can be isolated by separate FCU's and both are turned off. Would it be better to take all light bulbs out and test again. Don't know if it was meg ohms or ohms(can you explain in more detail why...
