Storing Paper/Valuables in Damp Conditions -Please Help!

Hi, I will be renting my hous eout for a year because, I have to work elsewhere - storage is quite dear so - . I am planning to store all my things in my sercured garage and loft. The thing is , I normally wouldnt do this as things like paper as we know gets damp, curls up etc etc. Cloths gets damp....

Mitre Saw- Kitchen Cornice and Pelmets

Ok, so the guy who fitted my kitchen units isn't able to finish off for at least 6 months so i figure I might as well have a go myself. Just need to fit the cornice ,Pelmet and Plinths but really want to make a good job of it. Any advice on Mitring? Will a good saw and block be good enough or should...

Yes the galley is just shy of a board wide. I somehow felt that cuttting want quite right but I'm very glad to hear it from someone in the know.
