in short no it cant. mechanical protection is steel conduit or bury said cable 50mm deep from surface of wall.

sparkydelux:- rings radials

being an electrician on most domesticated properties when carrying out a rewire i always try to go for a radial circuit over a ring main. the reason for this is its easier to do and easier to carry out testing. a 2.5mm ring main is fed from 32a mcb. the equivalent in radial is a 4mm fed off 32a mcb....

hi im an electrician with little knowledge of cent heat systems. im on a job at present and struglling with the wiring up of it all. the parts i have to wire up are 1:combi, programmer, zone valve, for upstairs rads, 2:megafow,zonevalve 3:manifold for underfloor heating 4:upstairs stat for rads. app...

ceiling light connections

in main light u will have 4 reds, 4 blacks, 4 g/y(earths). the prob seems to me u are gettin switch wire wrong as this wil be black instead of red(live). quick way is to put all reds together in block, separate all blacks(not touching). get urself a volt stick or volt indicator from b+q or somewhere...
