Cutting back dense overgrown Bushes / shrubs

Hi, I have dense overgrown bushes/shrubs at the side of my house. I dont know what type they are but they have very small dense leaves and red berries. I have tried using an electric hedge trimmer but it is hopeless!! It cuts the loose twigs but when I attempt any density it just jams. Would a petro...

How much can I safely Chase out from Solid Supporting wall?

Hello, I want to replace and relocate my existing radiator in living room. I am fitting a new Vertical Chrome raidiator and wish to conceal the pipework to it as far as possible. I want to chase out the wall from where the existing pipe comes out (8mm microbore pipe) to the site of new radiator. Wha...

Thanks, I guess it was an air lock.

I will have to try partly closing the valves to balance the system to get this one warm !!

Yes I think its a fully pumped system, I have a 3 port valve just infront of my pump so that makes it a fully pumped system ? right ?

Thanks for the reply, I thought the pump was OK as it works for the hot water also ??
Is this not the case ??
when hot water is first turned on pump starts a bit noisey then settles after about 30 seconds or so.
If the pump was no good would the hot water cylinder still fill ?
