if you do standard pert p then it covers u to do work on circuits as part of your existing job ie kitchen fitters bathrooms etc but you cannot just go to a house and do electrics. if you do the further level a full scope you can carry out all electrics inc consumer units etc and once registered u ca...

will have to be part p electrician as classed as special location wont save much after sparky has been out and layed armoured cable etc only an extra hour to do rest better to be safe than sorry also get your certificate as this will fall under building regs new curcuit.

u must use armoured cable and has to be sunken into ground on a bed of sand with cable warning sheet over

i would advise building out with treated timber then capping this in pvc internally i would leave the difference make a feature of it or again bow it out somewhere for u to run pipe work or electrics

wiring a sunroom just as a conny breaking ring in bedroom and then coming off one socket with a 5 amp spur customer wants mains power spot lights in how many is it safe to fit on the one 5 amp supply cherers guys

hi i am part p level a full scope qualified but need to do a major job to be inspected to be registered with elecsa doing some work for a conservatory company at mo and the other sparks are telling me its only minor works i have to issue customer with a minor works cert and thats it no informing loc...
