Thanks for the reply. wired up as suggested turns out there was an earth fault on the light.

Lighting not working

Hi Hoping someone can help. I have wired a ceiling rose in the living room had problems with the wires arcing to the fitting but solved now. however this light now works as does the one at the top of the stairs, but none of the others in the house appear to work. The ceiling rose had two black wires...

Wiriing Problems

Hi Hoping someone can help. I have wired a ceiling rose in the living room had problems with the wires arcing to the fitting but solved now. however this light now works as does the one at the top of the stairs, but none of the others in the house appear to work. Any help apprieciated Squiggs :cry:
