This is a trap issue.

You need to make sure all your traps seals are ok.

Nothing you put down there will stop the smell.

You can replace the traps with new ones or take the old ones off and give them a good clean.

Yes its you can.

You need to have the drain liner put in.

You can't do it yourself, you need to get a firm in.

Forget what I have just said on this subject.

I think was replying to a different post or just had a bad kebab.

You need a new entry valve and they start at about £3

They’re not worth repairing.

Just turn off the water and it’s a 5 mins job

Its a £12 part and easy to replace. There something simple wrong with it, but I feel you would be better off just replacing it. The push button cistern valves that come with a new cistern are always a "bit too cheap" and most of the time we just throw them away and replace them with a bet...

Right look to me like a real bad job, but I can see why they have done it. You have your basin and bath is connected below your toilet on your 110 mm waste pipe. Not a very good idea. Here what you need to do. Run separate pipes for the basin, bath and make sure they are above the waste connexion fo...

They’re a few regs for drains and sewage’s pipe in the home. I just can’t understand why they did not lower it and place a tile cover over it, like normal. If you’re unhappy with the work or need some real advice on this subject, you should contact your local council building inspector. They...

Try installing a 22mm ball valve and just removed the handle when not in use.

A hose should go on it with a nut.

First make sure the water feeds are off and no more water can get into the system. Close all the radiator valves, but remember to open them when you have a working drain off one. There are few ways of doing this. You can cut the pipe just below a radiator valve if the radiator valves are close and p...

I think it is the same part, but make sure. In case like this I ways pick it up, take it to the job first and have a good look at the old one. Most places will always take parts back if there wrong and refund the cost. But we both know it the boiler does not meet any of the new regulations. If theyâ...
