No solution yet, I still think a thinner mounting plate is the answer, or else I chisel out a 3mm deep recess in carcase end panel and sit the plate into it. Thanks for all the answers so far. Geoff.
Having used up all the adjustment on the hinges my door still needs to move towards the hinge edge by about 3 mm. Can one obtain thinner carcase mounting plates?
