Non reversible TRVs

Can anyone help? i've discovered that (along with two other 'reversible' TRVs fitted to the ruturn) my plumber has fitted a Drayton TR4 on the return. I am pretty sure this TRV is non-reversible. Does this really matter? Am I going to damage the system by leaving it? It's a pressuried system. I've l...

I've posted another message elsewhere and had good advice. Another brain teaser.... A rad that was fitted onto my system (sealed pressurised system with system boiler, 3 floors, no bypass valve, all trv'd) always seems to have air in it, plus the one behind it, which shares the pipework. i've notice...

Thanks for these replies, very useful. Could you clarify how to fit 'against the head' if you are refitting a trv that's reversible? I'd like to check if they have done it correctly. Am I right that if heating is on, hot pipe into rad is flow, cold is return. If both are hot, this is incorrect? Also...
