Radiator Cover Added but Radiator Cuts out After an Hour

Just bought a radiator cover but radiator keeps cutting out after about an hour. Ive left a 30mm gap between top of radiator and shelf. Cover 900m by 1400mm
Any ideas?

Can you set timer on boiler? Can't see anything in instruction manual that says about setting on and off times

Shower screen squeaking ever time it moves - any ideas on fix?

Hi
the plastic couplings that hold my shower screen is squeaking like mad evert time I move the glass screen. I've dismantled it and sprayed wd40 onto the plastic but that thas not worked.

Any ideas greatly appreciated, as noise is driving me mad!!!

I have a Triton Thermostatic concentric mixer shower fitting fed directly from my combi boiler. The flow control has become very stiff to open and close, probably due to limescale build up. If I take the flow control off, will I be able to increase the movement of it, or is the limescale in the main...

Hi I have a run of piping from floor to ceiling, about 10 ft, in a downstairs room, that is held by clips. Hi HTG,
thanks for the reply, tried reducing the flow by closing mains tap. stopped thumping on taps, but not at shower! its just as bad. Should I get a plumber to fit shock arrrester, and at the same timecheck over/replace shower control?

Thumping pipes

Hi I've got thumping coming from pipework when shower is shut off and when coldwater feed to washing machine cuts out, and sometimes when taps are switched off. I've lagged and screwed loose piping ( and in the loft), but thumping still happening. I have a combi boiler, so no cold water tank in loft...

Hi, many thanks for the repsonse. The condensation covers the whole window, so much so you cannot see out the window! Is this still Ok? it only happens early morning or evening

Condensation on outside of new windows

I recently had all my windows replaced, but now find that the upstairs windows at the back of the house have condensation on the outside. this only happens on these two windows, Is there a fault in the windows?
