Toilet

Hi all. I'm just about to change the down stairs toilet and have just got a new 90 degree pan connector which connects into the pot waste and into the ground. The question is, the section which pushes into the pot waste looks quite long (it has a black seal on the external of the pipe) and will this...

Spot Lights

Hi. I'm looking at replacing the 12v spot lights in the pelmet above the kitchen sink. At present we have 4 spot lights (2 x spot lights per transformer) but I can only seem to buy a set of 3 or 5 lights. Cheers sparx for the reply. So would a single 1.5mm earth cable connected into the fuse board and to the metal lights in question be acceptable? The wiring is approx 35 years old as you say but in good condition and the old re-wireable fuses (wylex) have been changed to the plug in mcb type. All the...

To make this safe without a rewire or running a single earth wire to all the fittings woul...

Sorted. Correct it was the seal. New seal fitted and back in working order. Bit of a pig to get it sitting right without leaking but all ok. Thanks for your help. Kev

Leaking Cistern

Hi all.

Can't find any topics on this so here goes. I seem to have a leak every time the toilet is flushed and it leaks from one of the wing nuts at the rear where the cistern is bolted onto the toilet. Thanks for any help. Kev :(
