Valves Gummed up?

I have several water supply valves which don't turn off. 1 Two 50 gal tanks in loft with outlet 22mm valves (brass). When I turn them fully off (they go all the way) water still comes out of the bath tap (not mains). Is there a quick fix? I would need some sort of bung to stop the flow in both so i ...

Move Oil Boiler Outside.

Need space in the kitchen. Have a Grant inside boiler. Can I move this outside and into a bought cabinet? Or do i have to buy a new unit? It is 14 years old. but neighbours is 48 years old.

Thanks yes I have now identified such. I can see problems with this clogging up and needing servicing as i guess anything 'obstructing' the flow would do. To push it in then having to remove it to clean the entry area seems awkward. Don't think there is a way round this problem. Any views or experie...

I live in an area where sewage backup is likely to occur. My ground floor toilet needs one but the outlet is vertically into a concrete floor. Yes thanks I will look into that. I guess they have to stretch between cross members for support and maybe not the entire length of the rafters.

One difficulty is removing the heavy concrete tiles which are the Marley flat versions.

If the pipes are sloping downwards when exiting the wall then rain will tend not to run into the wall. That's the first thing to check. He may be willing to fill the hole with mortar so ask him and that will also stop rain. You of course need to check the pipes are not leaking inside the wall.
