Spur from a cooker switch

Hi this may be a silly question but I can only find conflicting information on the subject, I want to know if it is possible to run a spur from a cooker switch to a fused unit in order to provide the power for a cooker hood.

Thanks maverick but I did manage to sort out the problem by borrowing a sds drill. It was just really hard concrete! I wouldnt have been able to look because I live in a flat.

Hi sparx I havnt looked yet as dont have a torch but I believe you are right about that. Do think a lid would be sufficent to support the weight of a the spotlights though? as they are quite fairly heavy metal spots. and is it possible to get metal lids as Ive only ever seen plastic ones. is this no...

There isnt really any other way to fit this bracket turning it 90 degrees would mean the spotlight bar would be at 90 degrees the other way and would look stupid. Im going to call the electrician tomorrow, though I think it is the box thing I've hit.
