Hi. I live in an older propert, built around 1900. The studs in the bedroom walls appear raised, and the plaster between looks curved. Is there a DIY solution to fix this issue?

Hi. I have a high stairwell, papered with textured wallpaper. I would like to use embossed brick effect wallpaper in this area. Given that the new paper has a rough brick look can I apply this directly onto the old paper?
