Re: Exterior Wood Paint and Painting Wood Surrounds on a Garage

I've heard about this Bedec Barn paint quite a lot recently.
Assuming it's better than Zinsser All Coat right?

Note: Heard this applies as good on metal!?

Re: Soundproofing an Alcove and Party Wall From Noisy Neighbour

I have a similar issue and I applied the same soundproof boards without any change whatsoever! I've been told the only way to fix this is to have a stud wall fitted with sound proof bars/insulation etc or something along those lines! I also think the sound travels through the wooden beams and as the...

Bedroom Wall Starting to Show Signs of Damp After Replastering!

Hi I'm starting to notice slight damp on my bedroom wall - a month or so. The room was newly plastered 2 years ago. Recently I had the front of the house rendered and new gutters put on. I can't see any obvious places water would seep in although I've not got on the ladder to check it fully due to t...

Fix Ideas for Gutter Downpipe Trickling Rain Sound

Hi My NEW gutter downpipe makes a trickling rain sound! I've had the workers come out and they took the downpipe mini line off thinking the vibration of the rain from the downpipe was causing this! However this has not resolved the issue! I've had a read around and people mention putting a sponge at...

Fitted Wardrobe and Filling End Panel to Wall Gap

Hi

How can I fill this gap shown on the image (stupid image won't upload due to restrictions!? I know it doesn't look too wide but it sure is!
The wall isn't level and I've had to undril the wardrobe from the wall as the door did not look aligned :-(

Sound from Next Door in 1960's Semi Detached Property from Neighbours

Hi We have noise issues where we can hear everything that happens next door! We can hear everything from even a pin being dropped to the floor! Sarcasm aside, the neighbours (husband and wife) are not noisy at all. It's just that we can hear the TV, coughs, yawns, talking, laughter, baby cries, open...

Sorry, I thought moulded doors come standard as primed! :-(
So, I guess I'll need to sand the door down now?

Re: Painting Moulded Doors with Paint or Varnish

Hi,

The Blackfriars polyurethane varnish didn't go on too well on the moulded doors! Are you sure varnish can be applied to moulded doors that are primed?

Re: Hairline Cracks have Appeared in Newly Skimmed Wall - How to Fill These

Hi,

Thanks, didn't see your response until now!
Yes, I have bought caulk which can be painted on. I have also bought this product as I've got a few hairline cracks (extremely faint) in different directions on my walls! I thought this product would help...?
