Replacing Single Brick Skin Wall With Breeze Block Wall

I want to replace a single brick wall which holds up the roof to my utility. The wall is non external, as next doors extension runs the length of the current wall. I’m not sure of the age of the current wall (house is 1930s), but I want to raise the roof by 2ft (so matches the flat roof of my garage...

forgot to add this picture. Shows a gap at the sill around a brick deep and is the same both side of the wall/frame.
