Ventilation will be the key here. Hopefully you have some space between the hull and the insulation, and you need to get air moving through that. That 'looks' like stainless, so yes - it can be fixed by specialist welding. How on earth did you manage to tear that? They are a supplier not a manufacturer, buy the quality you want from them. They are very good internet suppliers, and use massive amounts of packaging to allow them to use normal couriers to deliver unbroken ceramics.

Turn TRV to maximum (5 or the highest setting on it), and you have effectively turned it off (giving complete control to the room thermostat). i would recommend this for the simplicity that it offers, and you still have the TRV if you decide to relocate the room thermostat.

Pry bars and crowbars is the best I can do sadly. Have you tried K2? I had a conservatory from them, albeit through a supplier, but the supplier had little knowledge, and k2 provided most of the tech expertise. the conservatory was fabulous, and very cheap for it's quality.
