Hanging net Curtains on uPVC Windows Without Drilling Holes

Hi all, I'm desperately looking for a solution to this issue. We've just had brand new windows installed and need to get net curtains up on two of the bay windows and I really want to avoid drilling holes. Initially I read you could use the plastic hooks which come with adhesive pads on them but to ...

I hope this thread is useful to anyone else who might encounter one of these beams when attempting to drill close to window c...

Re: Cannot Drill Hole Deep Enough for Hanging Window Blinds due to a Beam

So just to feed back on my experience, I took the approach that the lintel must be made of steel/metal given it definitely wasn't wood or concrete. I spoke to a very helpful chap on the online chat for the store here and though initially I thought I may have to buy a drill as well he said I should g...

Cannot Drill Hole Deep Enough for Hanging Window Blinds due to a Beam

Hi all, I'm hoping I can get some help on here with a drilling issue I have encountered. I was looking to put up some window blinds over the weekend with the fixings screwing into the ceiling of the inset that the window is placed in. However, after drilling about 10-15mm into the ceiling I hit some...

Insulating Between Loft Rafters and Boarding on Top

Hi all, posting first time on here as I'm in need of some advice please... Our loft has a boarded floor so that it can be walked on but there was a lot of debris falling from the roof which I believe was coming from the felt laid under the external tiles which over time has in some places fallen apa...
