Hi,

Thanks for the replies.

The timbers are about 70mm deep so I could put 50mm of celotex, then I would have 20mm void to fit backbox, as long as having the void is ok in term of damp.

Hi, In the process of house renovation, bedroom has timber frame bay window with plug socket in but no insulation in cavity. Naturally I want to insulate this during the refurb.
