Re: Raising a drainage chamber to new ground level

Thank you Stoneyboy.
I considered doing that but then found the 'Marley Underground Chamber Riser' for £32.90. I cut it to the right length, then stuck it on by wrapping with Evostick tape and concreting around. I'm hoping it works. Thanks for your advice though.

Raising a drainage chamber to new ground level

I have been building a small new utility room over an existing 235mm internal diameter (250mm external diameter) drainage chamber and need to extend the shaft upwards by about 220mm to the new ground level. I have recovered the existing lid and frame for fitting at the new height. However, I cannot ...

Laying paviours over old concrete drive

I have an old concrete drive along the side of the house. Although i believe there is a slight fall to the road, there is nevertheless puddling in places after rainfall, which only disappears by drying. I would like to lay block paviours but don't really want to take up the concrete. The drive used ...

Water Pressure in Showers and Goind Cold When Tap Turned on

We have two showers, a bath, a kitchen sink and toilet basin all run from a combi boiler. When someone is having a shower and someone else turns on a tap elsewhere, the shower goes cold. I am sure this is a common problem but can anything be done, perhaps to maintain equal hot and cold pressures in ...
