You can power any device from a suitable power supply. The question is can you get one that is 54 v and supply the correct current? Often it is cost prohibitive to build or buy one. Id chop up few 4x2s into 1f lenghts,stick them flat on the concrete ( use some damp coarse under them) and then screw in vertical supports running from joist to timber on the concrete. I did that when i got snooker table 7 years ago and so far all good.

What type of fixings did you use? If you haven't used steel butterfly ones then give them a go. You probably have to drill hole in bracket slightly bigger to get that threaded bar through but its worth it. Those fittings hold up some serious weight.
